Kingston and Alice In Chains airs on 'Taree' Soundgarden

Week and a half I've been listening daily "Animal King" by Soundgarden and not lying to say it's one of the disks that is costing me postularme more. It is the work in question is dense, no. We're not talking about the latest album of Swans, nor one of Porcupine Tree, that is clear. It changed the character to me giving a false statement, and also to a lesser extent the great fanaticism that profess to Chris Cornell (and that the "Scream" will casqué the lowest note published on this website: 22 out of 100).

Among the songs on the LP there is one in particular that I went into full on first listen. That's 'Taree', a curious piece that manages to assemble stylish guitar riffs with a chorus of nature electrifying 100% Alice In Chains. Do not know about you but I get the feeling listening to Cantrell and Staley are there, in the background, witnessing a soundscape composed just before Soundgarden will disband in 1997. "We recovered the song by the roll I had. Chris asked grab and altered, creating a lot more emotion than the original piece had "- Ben Shepherd said in a brief interview on YouTube. Apparently 'Taree' was born out of a move that lived bassist. "I remember when we moved to Kingston. We lived in Downtown and facing the bay was completely cracked a big sign which could read the word 'Taree'. ". From that image was conceived cutting, also including rusty and broken Thayil's guitar solo that appears towards the end of the runway.

While just make the review of the album here we leave you with the album version and two live performances that Soundgarden were on Jools Holland and on Letterman.

Building the perfect ukulele Eddie Vedder in 'Sleeping By Myself'

With the nonsense has been over a year since its release "Ukulele Songs", an album of Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) still recognize today as a good little brother of that majestic soundtrack for "Into the wild. "Despite all the LP had some other substantial issue as a 'Sleeping By Myself' music video that just premiered official this week.

In the clip we follow the process of creating a ukulele, from start to finish. A total of two minutes and a half are the Veddie Eddie used to pay reverence to a small instrument that, little by little, it has gained the confidence and affection of the formation singer Seattle. By the way, the man who appears in the clip back do not remember much keyboardist PJ? (Boom Gaspar). We doubt it is, but that being a fan of PJ shows us McCreadys, aments Gossards and everywhere.

Autumnal Honeys The Sea and Cake in 'Harps'

While the world tries to elevate some artists from the time they released their debut album, others remain in a secondary for years and years, without altering their role. Americans The Sea and Cake could serve as an example of what has been said, have almost 20 years of playing together, have released ten studio albums and notable even today there are few who know who they are. His latest album - "Runner" - was published in late September, and lets us taste the honey more aesthetically autumnal quartet led by Sam Prekop.

The latest single to be presented is 'Harps', a melodic and rhythmic piece in which the intensities fluctuate due to harmonic guitar Archer melancholy and dreamy synthesizer McEntire. To present it properly in society, this one already has an official music video was directed by Jay Buim (Future Islands - The Man, Shy Child - Open Up The Sky) and that takes us to an acidic retro atmosphere that reminds us the Ghost Town view, the comic book created and illustrated by Daniel Clowes. Two girls in love, flat color shades, vinyl, old school skates ... This video has everything and more than I ever could be a hipster.

The temperatures have started to rise so we recommend that a thick jacket cojáis your wardrobe and dress warmly, put yourselves this delicious last LP of some children over 40 years old, still today continue to sound for fable. "Driving" indie rock with flecks of power pop and roll endearing. Could one ask for anything more at this time of year?

Victoria, for a breath between both album and tour as much, has devoted his last years to dive into a personal project - Taken By Trees - which vibrates your character dream dream pop (pop bliss!), But always adding nuances instrumental cause the listener is more than refreshing. The direct Incubus at Red Rocks, 2004 and 2011

Reviewing the historical site that was seen from the Rock In Rio, and the article on the art of love Brandon Boyd, Incubus not talked about. What can we say about this band? Long nights were what "Make Yourself" or "Science" have playing in the background just before going to bed. We feel much adoration for them that we could not help throw the hunt for interesting videos to upload to Binaural, a factor that has led us to give two direct brutal Incubus performed in the same place: the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison (Colorado), possibly one of the most contestants music venues that exist today in the United States.

The first is a direct rip bolus of Calabasas 2004 that released the DVD "Alive At Red Rocks". The second is a more recent, more specifically in 2011, in which material Incubus premiered his latest "If Not Now When?". Both shows are a blast so I strongly encourage this or any other night give him to "Play" and be led by the beautiful sound of these guys duality.

The next two albums by Mark Lanegan

The man in the shadows, who gave us "Funeral Blues" earlier this year, not to. With 47 Añaza behind him, Mark Lanegan has confessed in an interview that the web Louderthanwar is recording another solo album by the legendary Alain Johannes (Eleven, Queens Of The Stone Age). In addition to exploiting his solo career, the burly Ellensburg singer has also confirmed its intention to release another album of covers.

"[My new album] is another personal record. I've been too long away from my own project and now I'm pulling it back, I'm enjoying it. "- Mark commented the musical web. "I started recording with Alain Johannes various topics, but I have in mind also make another album of covers. It's something I've been wanting to do. I will by the same type (Martin Feveyear) producer who made "I'll Take Care Of You", and try to include collaborations with various musicians. "

In 1999 was when Mark Lanegan released his first album of covers (the same "I'll Take Care Of You") under the label Sub Pop LP In this former Screaming Trees singer delighted us with renditions of classic tracks by Tim Hardin , Buck Owens, Fred Neil and Tim Rose. What covers will surprise us this time? And in the case of the solo album the question is: will we continue enjoying that feeling dirty and torn we saw in "Funeral Blues" or we find something quite different? The answers to both questions will most likely find them in mid / late 2013.

Remember that Mark Lanegan is also recording an album with the reunited Mad Season.

"S.P.O.R.T. - Moving People "in the GOP Variety Theatre Munich

On 28.08.2012 presented the GOP Variety Theatre Munich one of his extra ideas, because for just one night, the graduates of the National School of Berlin artists were guests in Munich for their program to complete their education imagine. All artistic performances, which have the players in mid-June 2012, the final exam to become a certified artists / failed state recognized artiste, were embedded in a sports show. Under the appropriate motto "S.P.O.R.T. - Moving People, "a vaudeville experience has been put together and brought to the stage, which was different from other programs, as that somewhat less attention has been paid to the general thread and dramaturgy. The primary focus was on the athletic performance of the artistes.
This focus was quite a nice change to other variety shows, where although every movement and every detail, although this often gets lost appreciation from the audience, demonstrating how difficult feats are. If everything looks completely effortless, the audience often forgets how much hard work and discipline is in the individual elements of a show.Max S.P.O.R.T.
At a guest performance of "S.P.O.R.T. - Moving People "in Munich there were some small blunders of the artists with the show as a whole has increased in value only. After all, fresh-baked graduates were on stage to collect their first experience. More surprising was that some numbers were already honed to perfection. Of particular note here is the second number of the evening, when the young artist Max on Chinese poles lit a firework without equal. After a few moments he demonstrated the first somersault on the mast, only to then immediately telegenic with other extremely daring feats. The most impressive was probably his "free fall" from the top of the mast, at the very last moment he slowed a few centimeters above the boards that mean the world upside down, of course.
Max's number set the tone for the rest of the night and quickly made clear what they had to become involved: to demonstrate a group of young artists whose goal it was, what they can do. Often it came from so, as if every trick, every ace be unpacked his sleeve - which is considerable, as the artists of the show are, as I said just beginning their careers and do not have to develop a lot of time and therefore still room for improvement are ... or at least the tip of the Chinese Pole.Sarah GOP Variety Theatre Munich.
Highlighted were the costumes of the show, such as Muay Thai outfit including boxing gloves, which the ballerina Polina gave their innovative dance on an unexpected eroticism. Largely responsible for the costumes was the Belgian Marc Bogaerts. Of this Berlin-based director also came a lot of input for the development of the show and he and his company is a praise for her for having made such a full program on the legs, despite the considerable number of artists did not seem too crowded.
Hats off! A long and great vaudeville career! (-:

Top 5 songs of heartbreak for Ryan Adams

Few feelings are better than those generated by reviewing discography Ryan Adams on a cold and rainy night in fall / winter. All songs are recorded from the heart, getting the listener gets to relate their experiences with each of the lines coming out of the mouth of Jacksonville. Reviewing "Cold Roses", "Gold" or "Easy Tiger" I could see that Ryan has a good number of songs that make special reference to heartbreak, one of those experiences that we've all been through at one time or another in our lives.
Here I leave you with a small selection that I think are the five topics that Adams was out when touching the fiber with stories of characters apart, hearts broken and impossible love.
If I Am A Stranger:Ryan initially implemented this theme dynamically and fast, so enter it in the double LP "Cold Roses". Fortunately soon after the current husband of Mandy Moore decided to deconstruct the subject, slowing it down and getting to shore up the darker heart that housed one of the best compositions Ryan has released to date.
Now That You're Gone:Another great item that appeared in "Cold Roses" was "Now That You're Gone ', a sad song that Ryan mourns the departure of his dear beloved, and in turn tries to think of a new start in life . I remember this piece served as a backdrop for a CODA sound of an episode of One Tree Hill. Brokenhearted, bonfires near the beach and "NOTYG 'ringing. Unbeatable.
Elizabeth, You Were Born To Play That Part:The penultimate song "29" is one of those that will never be valued as best they deserve. Ryan, just in front of his piano, reaches in 'Elizabeth, You Were Born To Play That Part' one of the most dismal and heartbreaking for the period between 2003 and 2007. Immense instrumental rotation that occurs in the 3rd minute.
Harder Now That It's Over:Undoubtedly 'Harder Now That It's Over' was one of the works that led to engage people to "Gold". It has all the nuances melancholic, melodic and full of knowledge that led to fellow sufferer of Cardinals to be who he is today. The best thing about the song? The moments when Adams gets carried away in the chorus reaffirming his own freedom.
Do I Wait:"Ashes & Fire", published last October, 2011, also has a few pearls of nature "semiemo". One is 'Do I Wait', a sound production in which Ryan shows that point of indecision in the heart of one does not know whether to stay or leave. Brutal sound atmosphere that surrounds Adams and growing and growing over the issue.

Australian indie-folk at the Atomic Café: Husky live

Husky
What Eskimo Dog, Australia and Munich have in common? Well ... at first glance, nothing first. And the second not, because the name of the Australian indie-folk band Husky who comes to visit on 17/09/2012 to Atomic Café in Munich, is derived from not of the cute dog breed, but from the first name of the singer Husky Gawenda . This picture together with his bandmates Gideon Preiss (keyboards), Evan Tweedie (bass) and Luke Collins (Drums) since 2011 Husky - a quartet, in which each individual has their own musical backgrounds. What unites the four but their love of classic pop music from bands like The Doors and The Beach Boys as well as the desire for sophisticated songwriting and sumptuous harmonies.
The debut album "Forever So" was recorded in Los Angeles in 2011 and mixed by Noah Georgeson, who is known from his work with The Strokes. The album is a great collection of songs with haunting lyrics and delicate sound levels. The Australian fans know the sound of Husky have enjoyed, as well as their fantastic live performances. Husky already stood as a support act for bands such as Gotye, Kimbra, Noah and the Whale and Jinja Safari on stage and have convinced every time - and they have not before, in Munich, at the other end of the world to do something different.
The haunting lyrics and the way of telling how Husky with its art histories, also praised in Rolling Stone: "'Forever So' is breathtaking in its ambition, a shimmering fog of kaleidoscopic storytelling, each song a Nick Drake-esque fairytale delivered with full indie-orchestration ".
In July Husky actually had a cameo in the Australian television quiz show "RocKwiz", where the player has mostly rock music.
Come and visit the concert of Husky on 09/17/2012 at the Atomic Cafe in Munich.

Daughter and expansive emotions 'Smother'

Daughter Never we will forget. There is such a sensitive and delicate issues in the London band that can not stop talking about it. His story intuits victorious goals: caught the public's attention with "His Young Heart EP", six months later gave the final media coup with "The Wild Youth EP" that led them to get a move to independent label 4AD omnipresent (Bon Iver, Purity Ring). Now, after taking a little air, the UK trio returns to hero thanks to the premiere of her new single - 'Smother' - which you can enjoy through YouTube in the same entry.

With "Smother" There is a before and after Daughter. The more intimate folk character controlled enjoyed in songs like 'Candles', 'Switzerland' or 'Love' has been transformed to a plane substantially more expansive and dreamy. Is the reason for this change? Elena, Igor and Romi now have a band that's secondary. And we love the result of what you hear here, including an ending that has led our senses to a new dimension. Sweltering never sounded so sweet and candied.

'Smother' will go on sale on 7 "vinyl from Oct 1 via 4AD (UK, Europe and rest of world) while in America will be on 4AD. This physical edition will feature a delightful surprise: a new version of the classic 'Run' Daughter. Both items can be purchased on 3 September in digital format.

Martin Buscaglia: Interview

In this entrevsita, Uruguayan singer Martín Buscaglia explains the composition of "Ode to my bike," a song he describes as 'made with a bicycle', the reason for its mysterious beginning and the results it has had on the world of cycling.

It also reveals some details of his new album with the Spanish musician Kiko Veneno and a theme that has hung in place, "cumbia guinea pig." Then talk about the "eclecticism" that appears in his music as a confluence of a wide variety of genres and even sounds and rare instruments. He said: "I think it enriches the song. It's like a meal. You can have your favorite food, but really, you can not eat the same thing. It'll do poorly and you'll be bored. "What a great comparison!

Leaves us with a very positive message to students: "I personally love to learn another idiomo, I find beautiful ... Sometimes I think I'd like a chip implanted to talk to anyone, but actually not, because the process of learning, there is magic. "

With the right angle, man creates his own order

le cobusier 430
The Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier is an infamous proposal entered the history books: demolish large parts of Paris and replace it with a monotonous collection of cross-shaped residential towers in a rectangular grid. By early September, the Museum of Architecture at the TU Munich shows in the Pinakothek der Moderne Le Corbusier's ideas of using a "poem about the right angle" as part of an exhibition about the political and social commitment in architecture.
Categoricallyright angle of the characterthe spirit of the heart.I've seen myself in this characterand I found itI foundfoundHorizontal gaze straight ahead ...
Wrote in 1887 in Switzerland as CharlesÉdouard Jeanneret-Gris-born architect and artist who called himself since the early 1920s in Paris, Le Corbusier, 1955 in a peripheral, with lithographs to 155 large format pages printed in small editions poem. It is first shown in Germany now complete - in the words of museum director Prof. Wilfried Nerdinger "a single complex structure and thoughts of" Le Corbusier with "an infinite number of motifs, which are also present in its architecture."
Although Le Corbusier, the human body the measure of all things and this was explained in the illustrations to his poem, he wrote it about his architecture:
Mathematics! So it was, the happymaybe even find a wonderfulNumber in numbers hasthis human-produced tool.
The buildings of the museum's architecture, according to the "greatest architects of the 20th Century, "according to Le Corbusier's own words were to" poetry "was founded and made possible by his free artistic work. According to his ideas, the exhibition presents his color lithographs in the form of a religious-style multi-limbed cross, that Le Corbusier called the iconostasis. Each series is devoted to a topic: dedicated issue: the environment on the mental and physical elements to the right angle, with the man creates his own conviction to Le Corbusier's fine.
Simultaneously with this presentation, the Museum of Architecture Examples of political and so-cial commitment shows in the architecture of the early 19th Century to the present. It recalls, for example, to Bernhard Christoph Faust, in his 1824 Sun City planned a hundred years before the first row houses of the early 20th Century all the buildings to the south should have been focused on lofty designs of the early 20th Century, which, under an "International World Centre" (Hendrik Christian Andersen 1912) or a "pantheon of humanity" (Hendrik Petrus Berlage, 1915) did not want to let go off, and moves from there to the bow, for example, to the Garden City Hellerau and to within one decade (1925-1934) created 60 000 social housing in Vienna. 'L' architecture engagée - manifestos for change in society "is also still to 2 September to see in the Pinakothek der Moderne.

Hardstyle Top 10 - July

My goodness, how long it's been back since I've voted on this blog a top 10. Not to mention a top 10 of the freshest, coolest and perhaps ground-breaking tracks the hardstyle scene. But I want the next series of interviews and revive this tradition.

The main reason for this move was the latest episode of Hard With Style and scene with the king Headhunterz. For in this session most recently, in addition to the tunes of the genre even older treasures are contained. And memories can flare up and wake up the pleasure of writing.

So we come to select the tracks that I consider particularly valuable for this month. Included are both brand new songs as my current favorite track from Frontliner symbol, as well as classics from Zany or "About the Music". A track that has resulted from collaboration between the Black and Toneshifterz code and sometimes very reminiscent of the rave song "Sandstorm" by Darude. Overall, however, it is very hard this month to what is surely to recognize quickly.

Frontliner - symbol (Q-Base Anthem Open Air 2012)
     Wasted Penguinz - International Departure
     Killer Clown - Silentium
     B-Front - Mysteria
     Alternate - Our ritual
Lady Faith - Queen Bitch Of The Universe
     Hard Driver - Enlightening sounds
Dj Zany ft. The Beholder - The New God
     Inner Heart - 2gether
Neilio & Star Driver - Sound Of Silence

If you're unhappy with my choice, then just write your choice under the post. It would be very interested how you rate this month. So then, keep it hard!

The Raveonettes whirl tirelessly

If someone almost ten years ago, when I heard the first song of the Danish band The Raveonettes, had said that the band would even today be still very active and they usually were with me also for many years to count, I would not have believed it. Actually, the sound cosmos appears the meantime had moved to the U.S. duo too limited, as you could over such a long period of time to stay interesting and exciting. But Nope! After the beginning of the year published, highly recommended "Into the Night" EP we continue without pause for breath - the next album called "Obervator" is scheduled for September. And the first song out of it, "Observations" sounds really great times again!
