The Raveonettes whirl tirelessly

If someone almost ten years ago, when I heard the first song of the Danish band The Raveonettes, had said that the band would even today be still very active and they usually were with me also for many years to count, I would not have believed it. Actually, the sound cosmos appears the meantime had moved to the U.S. duo too limited, as you could over such a long period of time to stay interesting and exciting. But Nope! After the beginning of the year published, highly recommended "Into the Night" EP we continue without pause for breath - the next album called "Obervator" is scheduled for September. And the first song out of it, "Observations" sounds really great times again!

Refused swept Late Night TV

I was yesterday afternoon checking out some music reference sites when I learned that in the middle of last week had played Refused Late Night TV program featuring Jimmy Fallon, presented one of the most renowned U.S.. The Swedish band only had the opportunity to play two of their most legendary ('New Noise' and 'The Shape Of Punk To Come') but in just those 10 minutes of direct Refused bristle hair got all the spectators, astonishment, witnessed the arsonist direct the colossal "hardcoretas". Two Gallants: triple appointment in Spain and new album in sight

Just a year ago we approach the Apolo in Barcelona to interview Two Gallants. It is very likely that you may know: his discography began in 2004 with "The Throes" and came to achieve a certain cult status thanks to Saddle Creek to "What The Toll Tells", a precious and elegant folk rock album containing pieces so foully beautiful as 'Steady Rollin' or 'Las Cruces Jail'. Now, five years after the release of their third LP titled, Adam and Tyson make war again with a new album entitled "The Bloom and The Bright".

This new release, which will be released on September 4 via PIAS / ATO Records, was recorded in two different studies (Berkeley's Fantasy Studios and studies Tiny Telephone in San Francisco) and has been with John Congleton as the producer of renowned has worked hard to fund. On the LP Vogel has confessed in a statement that Two Gallants have changed the course considerably. Hello dear namesake, I am very happy that I finally managed to send you the questions. But rather the fact that you are ready you explain to me a few questions to answer. Fast forward again to the beginning and then actually start. Stand close to some.
No problem, I'm open minded and like to respond to questions. So, my name is Patrick Bayan, I'm 20 years old recently and I'm from the beautiful Sauerland (North Rhine-Westphalia).
Say, how did you get into music and when did you make music even decided?
Started to listen electronic music I have from an early age because my parents (as funny as that may sound) is often heard from Trance and Hands Up, and (especially the part of my mother). The first time I am then in 2008 came with Hardstyle in touch, as I advised my then best friend, I should have some turn Techno4ever. At the time, Robin Clark has just had one of his shows, and after Headhunterz tracks like "The Power of the Mind" and Technoboy's "Rage" it had happened to me. To produce itself, I then started really with the Brennan Hearts Remix Contest 2009. There is still sporadic, himself from last year, then more serious for me.
You were once part of Intoxiqatorz - that's a fact. But why this project failed?
Yes that's right, the reasons for our separation, I do not want to mention, however, continue. Just this: It was later simply lacked the mutual trust, and I hope that we can start sometime in the future reunion.
Anyway. Some things should just remain private. After you have separated yourselves, you have under the alias "Stargazer" continues to produce music, and especially in what quality. It is staggering how profound and moving your compositions are chosen and placed by a kick to Zany typical expression. How do you do that?
Well, it all depends on my mood. Music for me is simply a means to reduce frustration or my emotions like happiness or joy to teach (now sounds clichéd but it really is ;-)) Above all, they are my melodies and harmonies that I bring this to the expression, then is decided as the rest of the track is built around it.
What is your secret recipe as a producer? Wherein lies the power of making music?
A real secret recipe, I can not really account for. It has a lot to do with exercise, while people with some people even real talent to come (eg Adrenalize or X-system, who have 15 or 13 years, partly seen better productions than established producer!). Furthermore, one should never lose faith in themselves, even if you criticize, you should not see this negatively, but simply as an incentive to improve it!
Both of us have even worked out some time ago on a track. I think most of my readers but the contribution is seen but not read. In general, I think that many do not have the screen that I have also produced good time (and still push the keys on the keyboard). Do you think we can get this little "masterpiece" in the future to finish?
In any case! Right now, I think the track as one of our best. The problem will only be to find the time to seriously turn to continue working.
Okay, where his mouth is - Kicks or synths. What is difficult?

Cubase or FL Studio?
This keeps the balance, if you can deal with Cubase that is clearly better for beginners in any case FL Studio!
Dubstep / style parts in the track - yes or no!
Like dubstyle itself is a nice experimental genre. However, the dubstep parts in hardstyle tracks tend to be kept in check!
How would you describe your style of music making?
Variety! I will not really commit to one style, but otherwise I would describe myself as a melodic (from euphoric to melancholic), almost like a cross between Wildstylez and Wasted Penguinz.
Who gives you the ideas? How did you beschaffst new inspiration?
By and large the whole, I am myself. Sit down at the piano and improvising a bit, if you're lucky, you get your best ideas! Otherwise, of course, tracks by other artists, but also soundtracks of films and series.
What is your goal?
Listen to one of my tracks on a major event I'd been rich to be honest.
Patrick, thank you very much for this interview and wish you every success for the future. I very much hope that it create your tracks in the sets of names sticking DJs. They have the potential and plenty of love in it. Finally, but I want to know something about your attitude in regard to developments in the scene. Where do you think developed through the scene? Decomposes it into individual parts, as in the past is all techno or exaggerated?
That depends on the scene. If the hardstyle lover could quarrel more and more it eventually end this way. But for me, everything remains Hardstyle, Nu-whether or Rawstyle or Oldskool!
Is Hardstyle become a Commercial genre? One only has to look at, is how many different festivals and events are spread over the year and how many people attend it each year.
At the moment I would not Nocht Hardstyle regarded as Commercial genre, where you must be clear, that actually has nothing to do with commerce every genre. The DJ's will indeed eventually earn their money! However, it is well on its way there, thanks to HP Baxxter (Scooter) and his cohorts. (I think everyone knows what I mean by that).

Olivemoon. Forest Folk to build log cabins.

Melodic guitars, mandolins, ukuleles, violins, violas, keyboards, xylophones, glockenspiels, tambourines, didgeridoos and vocal voices seas. A massive party of sounds, textures and atmospheres. Songs that grow and grow until it seems to be bursting. The perfect combination of multiple elements in a result grandly carved. This is Olivemoon. A real treat that will soon cease to be a little secret known in Barcelona.
Olivemoon comes from the hand of the musicians Marc Navarro and Jona Oliva, who have been joined on Ignasi Canals, Kim and Laura Peratt Resin. All are multinstrumentistas, some classical training, and traditional hand tools. This fact, coupled with their great creativity and guidance for experimentation, provokes a very good basis for knowing that you are in front of a huge musical product. Olivemoon live perfectly, like gazelle on the savannah in this fertile field that is now the scene in Barcelona. A good product, a distinctive personality, ability with digital tools, broadcasting guerrilla word of mouth, and desire to make music. To this we have to add the worship that they have a totem of a Catalan radio and, more recently, appearing as a soundtrack of a notice of carbonated water. The first items are good base. The second are those who can lead them to pace quickly.
Olivemoon only have edited a beautiful craftsman EP titled 'The Thickest Forest'. A dense, lush forest of eight songs. Eight tracks carved wood following a marvelous supporting base, and a prolific green leaves that become the best and full of sap ornaments. 'The Thickest Forest' is also the title of the first cut, a kind of instrumental introduction where we can feel the imprint of the multitude of instruments that we will find for the ride. She still grand pieces like 'A cliff' and 'As We Grow'. The latter a marvelous scent hit song. A beautiful guitar chords and the personal voice of Marc Navarro mark the trail.
Wild harmonies but finished feeling perfectionist. Engrandándose bars that seem to go to reach the hatch instrumental, thanks to the fabulous springboard for the string section. Pure wonder. Then we can find parts most affected and paused, as 'Washing Machine'. A real massage with eucalyptus scent that can burn away any winter. A piece that excited the first time to hear it. And the next thirty well. Emotion and fat wool sweaters that come across this 'The Thickest Forest'. Warm feeling that does not bother even summer and all the windows open house are wide. Aperturistas frameworks that we keep the time comes 'Feeling High'. Populated Western bearded golden spurs. A calm invitation to dance. Epic "boniverista" crescendo that makes his best weapon. The instrumental passage holding the rope between the introduction and the outbreak.
A summit to climb to enjoy this landscape full of green, yellow and brown. Well carved wooden instruments sound as good and as sharp. Olivemoon are very good news to tell every few days.
